How to Use It

  1. List Your Valves

    Give each valve a row: its number, make, model and serial number, and the site and location it's installed at.

  2. Record the Set Temperature

    Enter the temperature each valve is set to, and its install date if you know it.

  3. Record Each Service

    After a service, update the valve's row: the service date, the outlet temperature you measured, the result, who serviced it and the next service due. Last Result and Status are picked from a list.

  4. See What's Due

    Sort or filter Next Service Due to see which valves fall due next. The header row stays in view as you scroll.

  5. Print a Service Sheet

    The PDF is a blank service sheet for one site, with a row per valve to write the temperatures and results in on the day.

Before You Start

Worth Knowing

  • It keeps records. Which temperatures and service intervals apply to each valve is for you to check against the Standard and your regulator's rules.
  • It doesn't mark an outlet temperature as in or out of range. Record the result you found.
  • Updating a row replaces the earlier service. To keep each one, save a copy of the file before the next round.
