How to Use It

  1. Write Your Checks Once

    List the checks for the equipment you service under Checklist, from the manufacturer's instructions and your own, then save the file as your own template.

  2. Fill in the Visit

    Write the customer, site and site contact, the agreement and job, the date and technician, and each asset serviced with its location and condition.

  3. Work Through the Checks

    Mark each check Pass, Fail or N/A, with a note where there's something to say.

  4. Record Readings and Defects

    Write each reading with its unit and result, each defect with its asset, severity and whether it needs a quote, and anything you recommend.

  5. Set the Next Visit and Sign

    Write when the next visit is due, and have the customer's representative sign.

  • It lists no checks of its own. What to check, and how often, is yours to set from the manufacturer's instructions and the rules that apply to the equipment.
  • It keeps a record of the visit. Keeping the equipment compliant is your business's call.
