How to Use It
Fill in the Job
Before you head out, write the job number, date and technician, the customer, site and site contact, and what needs doing under Works Requested.
Record the Work
On site, write what was done under Work Completed, the parts used, and the times you arrived and left.
Get It Signed
Have the customer's representative sign, with their name and the date, and sign it yourself.
Keep One per Job
Keep a sheet for each job. In Excel, copy the sheet for the next one: right-click its tab, choose Move or Copy, and tick Create a copy.
Before You Start
Worth Knowing
- It's a record of one job. Nothing on it carries across to the invoice or the next visit by itself.
- Priority is picked from a list; everything else is yours to write.

Doing This in Deployr
The Job on the Technician's Phone
A job opened from My Day is a deck of cards, one for each step, in the order the work is done.
Signed on the Phone
On Sign-Off, hand the phone to the customer to sign, type their name under Their Name, and choose Save the Signature.
Straight to the Invoice
Deployr makes a draft invoice for the job's customer: the job's billable time not already on an invoice, a line for each time type, each allowance with a charge, each material, each billable expense and any subcontract work.
